Part games night, part confessional, part theatre, Round Round Buns invites you to take a frank and humorous look at the unspoken. A pair of char siew baos? A sausage bun? This time, we zoom in on the deep and dangly bits – what are YOU really made of?
Playful, irreverent and stylistically innovative, Chop Chilli Chop Collective has created a safe space where unflinchingly honest discussions on gender and intersectionality can unfold. Audiences are prodded to think deeper about their unconscious biases through a rousing evening of participatory theatre, fierce competition, and the universally beloved act of karaoke.
A previous version of of Round Round Buns was presented as part of The Theatre Practice's Practice Tuckshop Playground Series in 2017. This current version was presented as a fringe activity for The Theatre Practice's M1 Patch! A Theatre Festival Of Artful Play.
